Description

**Tongits** is a three-player card game from the Rummy family, centered around emptying your hand by forming sets (melds) or minimizing your score when a fight is called or when the central stack runs out. Players receive 12 cards, with the dealer getting 13, and the remaining cards become the draw pile. The dealer starts by discarding a card, and each player can either take the discarded card to form a set or draw from the central stack. Players aim to create sets while discarding unnecessary cards. The game can end when a player wins by Tongits (emptying their hand), calls a fight, or the draw pile is depleted. When a fight is called, a player must have laid down a meld, and if no player can add cards to their melds, the fight begins. The player with the lowest hand total wins. Additionally, if a player can use all their cards in combinations or by connecting to opponents’ melds, they win by Tongits.
